I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Waters' Changing Fate and followed the link to this story. Unfortunately, I did not notice the length, although it was stated clearly enough. 4 pages simply does not add much to the novel. Druscilla is handling a shapechanging baby just fine. Briam is still a little vague, but a seems to be a good father. The rest of the story could be told in 1 sentence.Change-child is like a $1 potato chip - it's tasty enough, but it isn't satisfying, and it costs too much. Ms. Waters' website indicates that she is working on a sequel to Changing Fate. It would probably be less annoying just to wait for it.

Love her books even the ones she edits.
This is a cute snippet, but that's all it is- there's only 84 locations in the file so that probably equates to 300 words or so. It's certainly not worth even a dollar and I'm very disappointed they charged that much.
This is a sequel to Waters' novel "Changing Fate", but it works well on its own. Briam and Drusilla are faced with the apparent disappearance of their eight-month-old daughter, Zora. Briam's twin is a shape-changer, but he is not. Still, could it be...?
Waters brings all three (or four?) characters to appealing life within the 84 lines of this short-short story and leaves the reader chuckling at Drusilla's solution.
