I love Alexis Abbot's mob men! Yeah, that is not weird at all.. Anyhoo- somehow she has this unique ability to make me love, dislike, and feel sorry for the H's all at the same time EVERY TIME
This first book in what looks to be a dramatic action packed hotter than Hades series.That gives us the background on Bruno and Serena, lays out the other characters roles, provides such an impressive tale of the passion renewing & love rekindling between the two that had been lost even in the midst of some heavy battles.
I love Serena's tough take no crap attitude, and Bruno's man dumb it is just a flesh wound I am fine I need to protect you from everything mentality.
Well written, jam packed full of detail, suspensefulness that gave me goosebumps with a major case of feels!
Of course, I cannot leave this review without talking about their making up for lost time libido... *fans self* that is some sizzling hotness and lots of it going on!
While I knew this was a two book series, that ending had me wanting to email the wonderful Alexis Abbot and say umm.. excuse me. :) But I quickly regained my sanity, knowing what ever she has in store for us next will be well worth the wait!
I love this must read fast paced, hot mobbed up romance!
I hope we get more very soon!

This book grabbed my attention from the start and kept it through till the end. This is an on the edge of your seat page turner. There is a lot of action, suspense and very hot sex. I love Bruno even with the job he does for the mafia. He fits the name Bruno, he's rough, tough takes no crap from anyone. Yet he has a loving, caring side for Serena. There is no question in my mind he would die for her. Serena is smart, strong and is doing everything possible to make her shop a success. Put Serena and Bruno together and you got one hot and sexy couple. In my opinion Alexis Abbott out did herself with this book. In my opinion she writes mafia bad guys really well, I get how Bruno is feeling. Not sure if this is considered a spoiler this book does end in a cliffhanger, but according to Alexis Abbott this is only a three book series. In my opinion if you like action, suspense and mafia stories then it's worth reading. I received an ARC edition of my honest and voluntary review.
Alexis Abbott is my go to author when I want some dark brooding mafia goodness to read.
Bound for Life is a fantastic 4.5 star book that will have you completely hooked from the first chapter and have you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.
This story is extremely well written and definitely packs a powerful punch.
I absolutely love Alexis Abbott's books and I loved this story so much but omg the ending had me screaming out loud.
I need book two in the series like yesterday.
What a fantastic cliffhanger to leave us on though.
I'm in love with the story of Bruno Lomaglio and Serena De Laurentis.
Bruno is everything and more you want from a strong male character and Serena is wonderful as she's definitely not a wall flower.
This is my 250th book I have read so far in 2017 and I can honestly say that it is one of my top 10 reads of 2017.
I absolutely loved reading this book and I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.
I highly recommend you one click this book as soon as you can and I promise you won't be disappointed.

You are a hit, Hitman Bruno! You are one bad Stronzo! I learned several Italian cuss words in this book, Stronzo being one of them.

I'm always surprised that I delight when mafioso's kill bad guys but Alexa Abbot can take me to a place where it feels like the natural thing to do.
Bruno is one of the toughest guys I've ever read about. He kills a massive number of guys who are attempting to off him and his girlfriend Serena, or to kidnap her.
Because there are more books to come about Serena and Bruno, we don't yet know the whole backstory on their early years together. However, they have a history. And they have one hell of an exciting present...and it is totally hot!
Bruno will do anything to protect Serena and keep her safe. Any free time he has is spent making her happy, keeping her company and pleasuring her. She does the same for him and she learns how to protect herself (and him), with a knife, no less).
There's a lot of sex in this book. Unprotected. So I'm guessing she'll be pregnant before long. The big puzzle will be to find a way out of the mafia for Bruno and Serena so they can live in peace.
Another great read from Alexis Abbott. Her mafia books are filled with action, danger, intrigue and suspense. The characters are relatable and the pacing is perfect to bring you to the edge of your seat, and glued to the pages until the end.

Bruno Lomaglio is an enforcer for the mob. He left Serena DeLaurentis behind years ago. All for Serena’s protection, only she never realized the extent of Bruno’s sacrifice until he appears again in her life years later. It was understood because of his commitment and loyalty to the mafia that she and her store were off limits to any gang backlash.

During the years, Serena’s been under the radar from the mob, so she thought. But a rival crime syndicate has other ideas, and that includes the use of her body. Serena is the daughter of mob royalty and they have plans for her. But now that Bruno is back, he’ll do anything in his power to protect her.

Ms. Abbott brings us an exciting installment of the series. It sort of ends in a bit of a cliffy, but wow! I can’t wait for what happens next to Bruno and Serena’s story. There are unanswered questions from their past I want to know.
