Wow where do I start. It couldn't get much better than this book. Asmodeus - King of Demon's, Liora - Witch with a bad tude, bad reputation and obsession with fighting demons. Apollyon -Asmodeus's twin, his mate Serenity, Erin - the Devil's daughter (who is with child) Veiron her mate and a Hell's Angel and Nevar who was damaged by Asmodeus. Oh yeah I forgot Asmodeus's hellhounds Romulus and Remas. The cast of characters couldn't get any better.
Asmodeus was created to be the Devil's right hand man, a heartless/brutal/emotionless warrior to do the Devil's bidding. He was the opposite of his twin Apollyon who appeared all that is good and known as the Great Destroyer (well his bubble will become deflated). When Asmodeus was summoned to do a job for the Devil involving entering the human realm he thought nothing of it. He was to go to Paris and retrieve a female. Asmodeus did not care what the Devil wanted with or was going to do to this female until he spotted his target. The instant Liora spotted Asmodeus she knew what he was since she could see past his glamour, her instinct was telling her to run but her brain wouldn't let her. She could feel the evil surrounding him, but she felt something else. As Asmodeus approached her and they engaged in conversation she instantly intrigued him. He knew then he could not turn her over to his Master. Asmodeus was not use to the Human realm and did not understand the emotions he was feeling. He had this urge to protect her and couldn't understand why.
As the story progresses Asmodeus is hell bent on protecting his human little witch. The more he was with her the more his light side would surface pushing the darker side down. Don't get me wrong his dark side never weakened and Liora knew this but she continued to push his buttons. Asmodeus loved that Liora was powerful and could handle herself and was not intimidated by him. She sees his good when they are attacked by a Hell's Angel who comes and tries to take her back to hell. Asmodeus protects her and kills the Hell's Angel sending him into the light. This is just one of many many instances where he comes to her rescue and Liora even manages to save his arse a few times.
The story is packed with action, romance and passionate sex. I found it so adorable (bad choice of word for such an evil being but it was adorable) and heart warming when she meets his hellhounds Romulus and Remas and finds out he saved them as pups and raised them. Not something you would have expected from Asmodeus. I loved when he tasted for the first time the sweet pastries, I loved that he went back to the human realm to get his little witch food, then a bed so she would be comfortable. I loved when they first kissed, first time making love, all these incredible firsts just made me fall more in love with this character not caring how evil he was. Because deep down he wasn't that evil.
I could go on and on but I don't want to spill everything. You really need to read for yourself. I would not read this as a standalone, there is too much history that you need to understand from the other books. Felicity I so give this read 5* and I really hope there is another one coming soon.

Her Wicked Angel is book 6 in the Her Angel series by the wonderfully talented Felicity Heaton. I was not sure what to expect although I have read so many of Felicity's books and have never been disappointed.

Book 5, Demonic Angel is one of my very favorite books and I could not imagine how this book would compete. All, I can say is she has done it again! The latest book is about Asmodeus, and Liora, I don't think it really could be read as a standalone. There is so much history in the Her Angel series and to follow this wonderful story you should read the other books in the series too.

This is a wonderful paranormal romance. There is a lot of danger, steaminess, heart tugging and maddening moments. I loved that there were visits from some of our favorites in the series.
Liora is a wonderfully strong female. Asmodeus a dark evil being , evil to the core, or is he?
The location backdrop is Paris and a tropical island and of course Hell.
It just goes to prove that sometimes you have to go to Hell to find Heaven!
I found Her Wicked Angel to be the best yet in this series. This features Asmodeus, The King of Demons and Liora, a powerful witch and Serenity's cousin, Serenity is featutred in Her Dark Angel. We first meet Asmodeus in Her Demonic Angel, where he is introduced as the evil twin of Apollyon, created by the Devil. He is busy torturing Nevar and enjoying every moment of it. It could not have been easy for the author to create a hero and leading male out of such depravity but she does it with aplomb. She does not try to change Asmodeus from being a totally bad guy into a goody two shoes by the end of the novel. I hate books that do that! It's so unrealisitic! Instead she explores the 0.01% of good in him. We visit his fortress in hell and see how he lives, meet his dogs and see that somewhere in there he is capable of great passion.

Liora is a good match for Asmodeus being darker and more powerful than her cousin Serenity. But she has learned the balance between good and evil. I feel these two worked well together. We also see some of the characters such as Veiron and Erin from Her Demonic Angel, as well as Marcus and Amelia and of course Apollyon and Serenity. We also learn more about what happens to Nevar after he is brutally tortured at the hands of Asmodeus.

If you enjoyed the other books in this series you will find this an entertaining read!
I love Felicity. I can't say I've read all of her works, but I've read a large number of them. I even have one print sitting on my bookshelf at home. I have officially read every one of the "Her Angel" books, and have literally loved all of them. HOWEVER, I just couldn't convince myself to five star this one. After I read "Her Demonic Angel" I was desperate to get my hands on the next one. Up until that point, every single book in this series just got better! I never knew for sure exactly what fantastic event was going to become of the new characters introduced, but I always knew it was be awe inspiring.

The tension in "Her Wicked Angel" was definitely there. I was always in suspense, eager to reach the "wow" moment. And when I did, I was almost disappointed. It wasn't a huge "wow" like it has been in every other book leading up to this one. That being said, I have a feeling. A feeling that Felicity has taken a minor step backward because she's preparing to build up to another awe inspiring "POW". By the end of "Her Wicked Angel" I felt confident that the story will continue and that there's a HUGE battle on the horizon that will have me wetting my pants!

SO, do I recommend this? ABSOLUTELY, YES! I still can't wait for the next sexy angel man. In fact, I'm curious to know who will be in the spotlight! Will it be the idiot addicted to blood? Or someone we haven't met yet? Felicity, lovey, you know just how to make my heart go pitter-patter.
